Not quite sure what you are asking. Do I have stock RAM? Yes, it's the RAM that came with the laptop. But I don't believe the problem is with the RAM.

When I first got my MacBook Pro, I used Boot Camp to make a 10GB partition. I installed Windows on it and everything worked fine. Since then, I have reinstalled Mac OS X once. Now that I have Paralells I no longer need that partition, so I want to remove it. I got the new version of Boot Camp...

I think that's happened to me before, but on a PC. All I did was turn the monitor off and on and it was fixed. Not sure if you can do that on a MacBook though...
