    hmmmm nope, they are inbuilt into the motherboard.. It's an IBM Netvista.. work machine... so yes it works fine.. damn i wish i could use a mac at work.. *sigh*.. Anyway yes it works fine, i have an external laptop hdd thing.. and that has worked fine.. I would love to talk to someone...

    Thanks for the advice but when i bought the iPod on the box it said for Mac and Windows, so i assume the hardware is meant to work on both platforms.. There is another update maybe there will be something in that for my problem

    Does anyone know of this. I put my iPod into a windows box, it stays connected for about 30 seconds.. and half of the battery has been drained.. a minute, and its pretty much all drained.. If someone could show me to a solution, and please dont say mac, cause i have one of those.. and...

    Colour iPod (merged thread)

    I would be happier if the next generation iPod had a much longer battery life, the ability to manually change dead batteries. Plus a built in radio receiver, that would make me upgrade from my iPod.. Not that i am complaining.... a killer unit, we all agree..
