When I run software update it searches for a while, then stops with 2 inches to go on the activity bar. Then I get this error message. "A networking error has occurred: zero byte resource (-1014). Make sure you can connect to the internet and try again."

Tried it, didn't work. It did however work just now when I installed AIM 4.7 and removed the buddies from that list. Then when I logged back on in iChat the buddies were gone. I have no idea why that worked all of a sudden though.

I'm using toast 6.0.3 and panther 10.3.3 and if works just fine so it must be something to do with your particular setup.

Simple, I can't get the buddies I remove to stay gone. The next time I start iChat, they return again, what can I do here?

All the router needed was a firmware upgrade. Luckily I got the school's permission to update it so now everything works.

When safari is first started, the bookmarks menu takes 3 or so seconds before it's displayed. I'm assuming that it's reading the little favicons into memory or something because this is a onetime delay. Still, I think it's pretty annoying and would've preferred this to have been loaded along...
