Fixed! Two things: One, replaced static IP address with dynamic--which cleared up all sorts of problems. Two, did firmware upgrade on wireless router. Can't say why either of these worked, but they did.

Well..that still doesn't work for me. Again, it's an annoyance, not really a problem.

I'm running 10.4.8 on a 17" desktop Duo, and I have the same problem. It's not a big thing, but it is annoying. There is a workaround, but it is more trouble than it's worth: Create a second account on the machine, then log in each time. That actually works, but it's easier just to open it...
