From my experience, Filemaker is adequate at best. For very simple projects it works OK. But as soon as you start to do more complex things there are a number of limitations that you constantly run up against. Sad to say that MS Access is a much better system that Filemaker.

I have an external firewire drive which I am trying to format. It is an HFS extended drive. When I open disc utility, the app quits when I go to the repair tab. I have run disk warrior on the drive - which works OK. Disc utility works fine on other drives. Any ideas?
