Is the root password different from the password given when you install OSX? I can't get su to accept the password I gave during installation. Thanks, jdog

I can't copy my file to a non-system partition then I enable the root account, but still can't. I don't know what happen. I have choose ignore the privillige in all partitions and it doen't work. I always have privillige problem under OS X.
