10.1 imac install disk onto a powerbook?

Hi,

I've got one of the new imac and with it came 10.1 install cd's, I'd like to use them on my powerbook Ti/500 - should this be ok? or are those install cd's specific to imacs?

I don't know about a 10.1 cd, but I just installed Mac OS X 10.2 onto my Powerbook G3 series II from an iMac install CD. It works great!

The only limitation I ran into is that I could not use the iMac restore CD's. It said that the "disc is not designed to be used on this machine."
