10.3.9 to <something newer>

Just bought an old Mac and want to update it. Looking at Leopard I don't think I have what I'll need. The browser isn't compatable with some sites so I want to upgrade. What are my options and how do I go about it?

Specs:
PowerPC G4 (v11.3) Dual 533 MHz, 766 MB SDRAM, OS X 10.3.9, GEForce 2 MX video card, 30G HD

Well without some modification, leopard won't even install.

And SGilbert- You should change your signature, Lol, It says 2.6MHz, thats the slowest processor ever haha, it needs to be 2.6GHz
