Add files to iTunes library from Windows file share

Hi - from looking through this forum I suppose I'm potentially a switcher!

I have a G4 Mac running Mac OS X 10.1.5. I have iTunes 4.1 (or 4.2?) installed. My music collection is on a Windows file share. I can connect to the file share from the finder using smb://xxxx/music where xxxx is the Windows PC name and music is the share name. I can't see to work out how to connect to this same share from within iTunes. When I select Add file to library I can't seem to browse to the Windws share.

Any hints?

Shows how dumb I am at this! I had to jump back further in the Add File dialog to select the network share! Those 3 column things were confusing me.
