airport express question

i want to use my airport express / cable modem with both my g5 (no airport card), and powerbook (airport express card). I do have a router, but so far have not been able to use both computers simultaneously, any ideas?
 
Best option: sell the router and use the funds to buy an Airport Extreme card for your G5.

Realistic option: Plug the router into the cable modem. Then, plug the G5 and the Airport Express into ports on the router. Using default settings, this should work fine.
 
tried this but for some reason it did not work. Plugged the cable modem into the uplink port of the linksys and then plugged in the airport express and g5 cords into two other slots and no luck..
