Apple Mail 3.1 mailboxes lost mail

Just recently moved to Mail on Leopard. I have lost all my sent messages (in the sent folder) . If I go to the mail folder in (user/library/mail folder) I can see all my mail messages. Anyone know how I get these message to show up again within Mail.

Try to highlight the sent folder and use the rebuild command.
If that doesn't work, drag the messages ( the mail stamp icons from your library ) into a different folder. ( i.e. the messages folder in your drafts.mbox ) Go back to the mail application and use the rebuild command on the folder you just moved them to. (in this case, the drafts folder) The rebuild command is in the mail menu, under the mailbox commands.
 
I had tried that and wasn't seeing any results.

Been working on this for awhile. I did put my mail folder on of the Lib file and set it on the desktop. I then trashed the mail pref files which reset everything. Then I had to re-import the mail. It worked but took time.
