Apple Remote Desktop Alltenitives

I don't have an OS 9 machine setup that I could check. Do a search on that machine for ARD. VNCServer may have a preference to start when the machine starts, You can put it in the Startup Items folder so it'll start when the machine starts.

You won't have all the features available when using VNC.
Can you connect and control the client running VNC now?

Yep, but I can ONLY control and observe, and thats it. I downloaded ARD v1.2 and put it on OS 9. Now that I have tis can I take off VNC. Well, how can I get all the features? (Lock screen, Chat, etc...)

Can you connect to the OS 9 machine with ARD 1.2 from the OS X machine?
If you can, you can rmeove VNC.
From what I read, I didn't think ARD 2.x would connect to the 1.2 version.
