big IE 5.2.2 problem

This problem occurs in IE 5.2.2 and Chimera 0.5 (not in Omniweb) with 10.2.1. The problem is that text is blinking and disappearing, as you can see on my screendump. This is very very annoying, and these apps are almost unusable now.

Who know's what is going on?

What's the site?

Wheny you say the problem persists in more than one browser it leads one to believe that it's a problem with the page.

I only have 10.1.5 so if there's some kind of common HTML-parsing code in a Jaguar toolbox that got corrupted I don't know. (That is, I presume that the parsing alrogythm is proprietary to each browser, and not called by a clobal OS function, but I don't know enough about cocoa to begin that discussion :p )
 
The problem is that it occurs in ALL pages. In IE 5.2.2 I could hardly read your reply. With a bit of scrolling and selecting and deselecting, all the text appears in the end.
 
I had the same problem. Just disable the Quartz Text Smoothing in IE's preferences and you should be all set.
