Can quicktime play different clips consecutively?

I was wondering if quicktime can play different video clips as a single file?

I remember being able to drag other clips on an open clip and it would "import" them.. I can't seem to be able to do that anymore.

you need qicktime pro to stitch them together into one file,or you can use rosetta,a free download via apple.

Anyone know if Quicktime has support for Metafiles similar to Microsoft's ASX and Real Media's RAM files? Those basically allow one to make a play list of available media. They're actually quite handy.
