Can't burn with iDVD? Please help!

OK...so I made a DVD for my girlfriends parent's 25th Anniversary. Nice. 4 different menus a nice slide show in each. So the party is tonight, we rented a hall and a DJ and we are gona play the DVD in a DVD player with a huge television.

I went to burn the project and it keeps popping the disc out telling me to insert a black disc...but it is blank. We bought 5 new ones. BUT....they are DVD+R.....I think I have to use DVD-R....is that my problem?

Please tell me yes....this is a really big deal...and I will only have like 2 hours to do this after work today...

Yup, the problem lies on DVD+R. You need DVD-R! And go for good brands to be sure you won't need to waste more time on it. Maybe you should even pick few different brands...
