In my Console Log, I keep getting the following:

04/12/2011 15:15:52 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[1659] (com.akamai.client.plist[3864]) Bug: launchd_core_logic.c:4139 (24498):13
04/12/2011 15:15:52 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[1659] (com.akamai.client.plist[3864]) posix_spawn("/Applications/Akamai/loader.pl", ...): No such file or directory
04/12/2011 15:15:52 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[1659] (com.akamai.client.plist[3864]) Exited with exit code: 1
04/12/2011 15:15:52 com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[1659] (com.akamai.client.plist) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

This is repeated over and over and over and it's filling up my Console constantly! I had a similar issue with MacKeeper doing something similar. I installed a trial of MacKeeper about two weeks ago but then decided that I didn't want it and it did exactly what this Akamai object is doing. I was able to locate some stray MacKeeper files and delete them and that stopped the MacKeeper thing. I have had no luck locating any such stray files for Akamai, though, and I'm not sure what to do now!

Any help would be great, thank you!

Did you install anything from Adobe recently? Seems like the Akamai download manager is a common result, with the fun that are experiencing.

This thread may help you:

Great article. Tried them all. Nothing. I don't have any files from Akamai in my P List either so locating them is a real pain. I'll keep trying and update again for anyone else with similar trouble.

Thank you though. If there were more of these articles readily available I think everyone would benefit from them greatly!

okay! i think i got it. ended up sorting through my library and i deleted a few caches and other files that clearly were not meant to be there and this seems to have stopped it. I did also manage to locate a plist from akamai which is now in its rightful place of non existence.
