Creating a PDF... first step...

Hey!

Basically, I am creating a PDF for a project of mine.

Now, how would I actually create it? I know the Preview.app part, but what would I do first? Design the PDF manual on Microsoft Word and take a screenshot? Because it wouldn't fit it all in.

create a document that you want to turn into a pdf. create in which ever app you want.
print
select pdf as the output. it'll save the file as a pdf instead of sending it to a printer.

done.

Hopefully you're not creating it in Word, ugh. In graphic design terms Word is to be avoided. However, if you had to use it, or any other design program, enter your text and print out pages "Save Page as PDF" in the print dialog box. You can even preview your pages before you make them pdfs. Handy!

Well, me and some friends made some really crazy movies, and there's been quite a lot of demand for CDs containing the movies. I thought I should make a little PDF manual-esq document to explain things.

I'd post the PDF, but it's huge, and I can't be stuffed to convert to jpg lol.
