Diverting emails from my Gmail to my .Mac email?

Hey, I wish to divert all my emails that go to Gmail to go to my Mac Address in my Mail App. Is this possible? How?

Yes, it's possible. Go to gmail.com. Sign-in. Click on Settings. Click on Forwarding and POP. The rest is self-explanatory.

That's not necessary. Gmail is now POP. Just setup a Gmail account in your Mail app to retrieve and send from your Gmail account.

No, it isn't. But I'm one of those people who would rather have Mail.App check one catch-all account, rather than have many accounts being checked unnecessarily. This is very particular to my needs, given that I don't get much mail to begin with.
