Drive Cloning Question

What I have is a G4 Ibook that has a bad hard drive and will be replacing it, I also have a Mini that I just bought new, Can I clone the drive from my Mini and copy it to the new drive in the Ibook?
 
No, because the mini is Intel-based and your iBook is PowerPC-based. The mini's installation of Mac OS X is not compatible with your iBook.

Your best bet would be to install a new hard drive, then use the Mac OS X Install/Restore CD/DVD that came with the iBook (or a retail version of Mac OS X) to reinstall Mac OS X.
