Email Backup error

Every night at 8pm, my computer tries to backup my email. I used to have an application on my computer called "Email Backup" however, I deleted it months ago, and yet it still tries to run the back up every day, and fails. Hence I get the error message. When I click on the "view" button, it opens console and displays the following:

2011-03-10 20:00:01.213 EBEngine[1635:207] Results of the Email Backup:
Checking for destination...
2011-03-10 20:00:01.247 EBEngine[1635:207] Thu Mar 10 20:00:01 PST 2011: Backup failed. Destination not available.

How do I stop it from trying to back up? It's so annoying to have to click on this every day and close it again. I deleted the app and everything, but clearly it didn't work properly (I have since downloaded app cleaner).

I'd suspect you improperly deleted the app. Many apps can just be dragged to the trash and deleted. But others actually have install/uninstall scripts that need to be ran to delete every instance of the app. The best thing to do is to re-download the app and possibly even re-install to see if there is an uninstall script.

It sounds like that app had some kind of extra launching app. Check Activity Monitor and your Login Items (system Preferences >Accounts>Login Items) for any helper apps.
