can anyone out there help me out of a jam.
im using 800mhz mac (running 10.2.6).

when using roxio toast 5.1.2; and trying to create a temporary partition (any size)- i get an error code (error -50).

i think its got something to do with user parameters or something.

what wrong and what can i do about it.
 
Case, I would suggest to update your toast.

And bopsi, I think now I understand what you meant in your previous post. Can you tell what you are trying that causes this error code? Seems like you and Case are doing different things and getting the same error code.
 
I haven't been able to find the cause of this error, but I think it has to do with permissions and what partition Toast is installed on. Could be wrong, but I believe that's impossible :)
 
I simply wanna burn a CD! No matter AUDIO or DATA. My CDRW drive is 3 years old (same as my G4 400). When I hit RECORD Toast shakes a bit and shows Code Error -50.
 
The shaking, I would think, is caused by an authentication or permission problem.
