Errr ... Megaphone?

Have a look towards the bottom of the Mac mini page, here:
http://www.apple.com/macmini/

Notice the small print?

Keyboard, mouse, megaphone and display sold separately.

:confused:

The only megaphone I can see is the "Tell A Friend" megaphone at the bottom-right of the page. Clearly, someone at Apple is having a little bit of a joke, and a subtle one at that. :p

heh. That's nothing. On the iPod Shuffle page, it has this:

indexwithgum20050111.jpg

And at the bottom of the page, #2 says "Do not eat iPod shuffle."

The original sentence was
"Keyboard, mouse, hands and display sold separately."
to refer to the image of hands porting the Mac mini.

Apparently they changed it to be politically correct.

Of course, it all maks sense when you read the bit further up ...

Mac mini also offers all the software that you need to finally enjoy the Internet hassle-free — including email, chat and a web browser that blocks popup ads. You also get a DVD player, calendar software, an address book, faxing and a way to download your contacts to your cell phone or iPod. You can balance your check book with Quicken 2005. And when you want to fight off a march of anti globalisation protesters, just hook up a megaphone and a horse and you can use it for crowd control!

Makes sense now, eh?

Yet there is a very tiny saddle in that little box in which the mini ships. Odd? You decide... on the next Ripley's: Believe It or Not.

:D ::alien::
