finder/find files -- sorting options

When I open a finder window one of my options is to list files by "date modfied" but when I search ("find files") i lose the "date modified" option and instead only have "last opened" as option. Is there a way to get the files listed in searching to appear with a "date modified" column?
 
Press command-j while viewing the Search Results and you can add the "Date Modified" and "Date Created" columns.

Edit: This works for Snow Leopard... don't have anymore Leopard machines around to see if it's the same.
 
Unfortunately that does not work. I get a view options popup window that says there are no options. Any other suggestions? It seems odd. Thanks, Ken
