G5 internal isight camera problem

Hi,

I have a little problem with my internal (g5 17" intel) isight camera in the fact its not working, i have checked system profiler under USB and although the 'built-in isight' camera is not specifically listed there i now have where it usually was 'vendor-specific device' and a little notice stating device has not been configured.

how do i configure the camera to work?

any ideas folks?
 
Well, it would first help to know if this is a G5 or Intel system, because they are two completely different sets of processors. If it's a G5 system, we can then rule out any 10.6 options for fixing things as well. So if you go to the Apple menu and select About This Mac, what does it say for the CPU?
