I've seen receivers that have 15-pin "VGA-type" connectors (some intended to plug into a VGA monitor or VGA-capable HDTV, some intended to plug into a 15-pin HD component port), but I've never seen a receiver that connects "directly to a PC".
There's also some PC video cards (like the ATI All-in-wonder Radeon 8500) that will actually output a HDTV signal...
I'm guessing that the box you're looking at means that it can connect to a "PC monitor". Which means that pretty any VGA-type monitor from the last 5 years (or other monitors with a VGA converter) will work with it fine.
Sound right? Otherwise, what model receivers are you looking at?
