I got my powerbook 17 inch!!!

Well ATI used to have a really bad reputation in Windows and Mac worlds ... But that all changed, everyone is dying for those new 9700 chips :)
 
Btw, one more thing:
How does the cover feel when you close the powerbook and press a bit over the apple logo? I thought that the size could be an issue for the stability.
 
feels stable as ever to me!

The only thing I found i don't like is the hard drive noise. It's a very quiet, high pitched electronic whine. The good thing is that its very quiet. The bad thing is it just sounds weird to me. And the fan is very quiet, but also sounds weird. The fan has only come on once so far! It also sounds weird, but quiet.

So those are good... the hard drive sound and the fan are both very quiet. They just sound weird, lol.

But, play music and you can't hear it, so that's cool.
