It's Official...single 1.8 gHz G5 FOR SALE...

you asked what it was worth in the other thread and I guess you have ignored the advice I gave you. a brand new dual 1.8 is only 300 more than what you are asking. the price you are asking is not fair at all and I can promise you will have a hard time selling it. 1300 is much more realistic because then the buyer is at least saving 700 and thats a worthy chunk.
 
Actually, that price should read bids start ot $1500. Keep in mind that a dual 1.8gHz, has 256 megs of ram, an 80 Gig Hard drive, includes tax, and probably shipping fees. That Dual would cost you around $2200 after all is said and done, Add ram to it [no one runs a G5 with 256 megs of ram] and that's another 100 bucks, etc. Mine is a better deal. I played with a dual 1.8 at my local Apple store...not that much of a difference [with the stock specs]

This is going on ebay, starting bid $1500 and well see what the deal is.

Thanks for the whipping... with all due respect I fully realize what a new dual costs...there is another G5 on ebay, exactly the same as mine...BUY NOW $1600

And...2 single 1.6's sold for well over $1500 on ebay...recently

$1300? I'd rather keep it under my bed.
 
Things always sell for unrealistic prices on eBay - thats just the way it is.
Clueless people + eBay = easy money for anyone who wants it.
ebay prices are in no way an indicator of what something is actually worth.
