Hello...
I am running iTunes 6.0.4, Mac OS 10.4.6 and I have an old iPod (Before the click wheel. Maybe 2nd generation?)
When my iPod is connected to the computer, I cannot seem to open iTunes. I click the icon, and it just sits there frozen. If I then unplug the iPod, iTunes generally opens right away. If iTunes is already open, and then I plug in the iPod, everything works fine.
So I want to keep my iPod plugged in and then open iTunes at some later point, I cannot.
I am reasonably technically savvy but I cannot figure out what is going on. I have tried playing with the settings and preferences of iTunes and cannot make it work.
Any thoughts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Rob
