Mail configuratin problems.

I have been trying to configure my mail account in osx. Unfortunately my account is with Hotmail and I have a problem finding their Imap and smtp addresses. This is really frustrating, I want to use Mail but it definately hasn't been easy to get working and I am about to give up...

Has anyone been able to configure Mail with Hotmail? Does anyone have the smtp and imaps for Hotmail? Also, how does one find out this info about their email provider??

you have to pay for hotmail if you want to use its IMAP and POP capabilities.
 
To my knowledge, the free accounts don't have those services; only http: for Outlook Express and Entourage users. I didn't even know you could pay for IMAP and POP.
 
So.... are you saying that I can't configure with hotmail?

Well, how about yahoo, will that work? Do you doods know where to find these addresses?
