Ah, finally an event featuring Apple equipment I can finally go to! SXSW is a great music festival, and is only 30 minutes away from my city... it's too bad I don't have AirPort capabilities (or a laptop, for that matter!)

Congrats to anyone who gets to experience the shared iTunes music... let us know how it goes!

they are using rendezvous to share the songs (hence the wireless network) and they are probably streaming form a computer with high bandwidth. rendezvous is quite an amazing technology (and it is implemented in all versons of 4.x)

But I wonder how they will get around the limit of how many users can listen to a stream. IIRC even version 4.0 only allowed a certain number of simultaneous streams.
