MX 2004 - New Macromedia Products

I found I would use FWMX more along side DWMX but Photoshop is still the best at filters and manipulating images.
With PhotoShop 8 due soon and Studio 2004 this could be an expensive year.
 
Not to mention the recent release of DVD Studio Pro, After Effects 6, the upcoming release of Illustrator 11 and InDesign 3.

I think I liked it better when macromedia took 2.5 years between releases...
 
SO true, I'll wait till i get a G5 before i upgrade my apps. Hopefully early 2004. But damn these prices are crazy, I'll wait till i see a good deal for the next release of G5s. When i got my G4 from macmall, I got $400 off the Adobe design collection.
 
I hear yaz, I got smashed by software all of a sudden. Just within the last four weeks...

I make it a strict policy to upgrade immediately, no matter the cost (unless I'm thinking of dumping the app). It stings at first, but ususally I'm ahead of the game in the end.

Flash upgrade is what I'm most anxious for (after Panther I guess). Looks great on paper (they had better freaking solve this video export thing once and for all).

There went my G5 for 2003!
