need audio help!

I have a short .wav file that I need to keep in that format.

I'd like to increase the volume and also 'crop' the beginning of the track.

I can figure out how to do both things in iTunes but can't 'export' the edited file.

I can figure out how to change the volume on QT Pro but I can't crop it.

Any help on how to do this???

Dear All,

To 'crop' in QuickTime player, you move the two triangle 'sliders' that appear below the timeline index of the music.

See the screenshot, it will make sense.

Once these sliders are moved to where you want, you can either, 'Cut' the crap you don't want off, or 'Cut' out the song, create a new player, and 'Paste' in the song in, and then 'save as'. Of course, you will need QuickTime Pro player for this

I guess this is a little late now, but the trial version of Sound Studio worked perfectly for me!
