Network printer

Hi.
[Sorry for my orrible English]
In my office I'm the only one mac user. We use only one printer for everybody. It is a multifunction Ricoh Aficio220. My Mac (OS X 10.3.9)can see it, but if i ry to print any file the result is always the same:

%RBINumCopies: 1
%%Pages: (atend)
%APL_DSC_Encoding:UTF8
%%Title:

And then blank sheets since I switch off it.
the problem should be not connection, but protocol. Mac uses PoetScript 3, while printer uses PPD (I've never heard about it).
I tried to download and install driver on my Mac, but with no results.
Network master can't help me, because he doesn't know what Mac is, neither Unix.
Nowadays If I want to print I must send pdf file to a windows computer, with witch I can print, but it's no confortable doing so.
How can I do?

I think you are right that the printer doesn't accept postscript. It does accept HP PCL. ADD in Printer Setup again, using the generic PCL driver HP Laserjet 5 Series, Gimp-Print (included in Panther and Tiger).
