null null calendars on iphone and syncing with mac

what's up with null @ null calendars? What are they? Why do I have duplicates of them? How do I get rid of them? It's bad enough I have a main calendar a gmail calendar a contacts calendar now I have null@null calendars. Please let me know the simple solution if you know it.
