One of my apple buttons on my G4 ibook is stuck on!

Aggghhhhh!!!

I cannot type anything as it keeps bringing up commands, the button appears to be up but whenever i type an "O" for example a new window opens ect....

please help.
 
Sounds like you may need to replace the keyboard. I hope it's still under warranty. You could try taking the key off the keyboard to see if that helps. That way you can see if anything looks physically wrong. Also, try getting an external keyboard and plug it up.
 
the mechanics of the keys is quite simple. Try to take off the key-cover to see, if something is stucked under it and is permanently pressing the button.
