OSX and restarting

I say "lazy" because a more industrious programmer would have written a script which required a restart for OS 9, which probably needs it, while simply terminating the installation when it was done if if sensed OS X. Note: this is a very small complaint in the cosmic scheme of things.
 
I run OSX at home and 9.2.2 at work (prepress, enough said). I laugh when I have to restart at work, which is at least twice a night. At home is another story:
9:31PM up 72 days, 19 hrs, 3 users, load averages: 1.58, 1.59, 1.64
