Palm trans to Apple Address book?

I have a palm full of contact data and I need to transfer it to my Addressbook on my mac. in the help for address book it says:
the info must be in LDAP Interchange Format (LDIF).

Can someone please tell me how to convert and then import this data.

Do you have the ability to Hotsync this palm with the Mac in question? If so, download iSync, and also the iSync Palm Conduit.

The conduit link is kind of buried in the sidebar along the right. Once you've got those installed, set up the conduit in Hotsync Manager (disable the old Address Book conduit), and fire away. You'll have to do a little more configuration within the iSync application itself, and I don't remember the precise steps I had to take. It wasn't too painful, though.
