Parallels Networking

I have a MacBook with Parallels 4 and 10.5.7 running a transported copy of XP Home running in Shared network adaptor mode.
However it cannot access the Internet and a port scan says all ports are closed.
I have tried everything I can think of, and whilst I can ping internet sites from Windows, and the DNS is correctly resolving addresses, I cannot find a way of opening at least port 80. I have also tried it in Bridged mode, both wired and wireless without success.
The MacBook has no issues accessing the Internet so it must be either Parallels or Windows at fault.

Any help would be appreciated.

If by this you mean that your installation of XP Home is pirated, then you will have to take your request elsewhere.

Transported just means he used Parallels Transporter to move an existing installation from elsewhere to Parallels, it has no connotations of piracy.

Mark, I'll check how my parallels is set up and post back if i find anything different between my setup and yours.
