Performance Issues

Hi,

On my MacBook (Snow Leopard 10.6.2), the performance is worse (i.e jittery graphics when loading the dashboard or viewing stacks) when running just off of battery power but everything is much snappier and smoother when plugged in to power. Is this normal or what can i do to help it?

What are other specs for your computer? How much RAM and what's the chip speed of your processor?

The jittery graphics could be a bad video card:

But the fact it gets better when you plug it in might discount that.

I have 2GB Ram and a Core 2 Duo 2GHz CPU

Also have 160GB Hdd and Nvidia GeForce 9400GM
