Problem with Google Translate app on iPhone

Every time I try to translate a sentence I get an error message saying there is a network error. However my broadband Wi-Fi is alway on and working fine so I don’t know what the problem is. Can anyone suggest a solution?
 
Obviously that app is not working. Try iTranslate . It worked when I needed it.
