removing a wireless network - cannot start powerbook

I am fairly unfamiliar with wireless.
I was able to set up a network with the main computer being a pc (router attached to this) and a WEP password. My computer is a g5 and accessed the network wirelessly, for the most part this was the only computer using the wireless connection. I also set up a powerbook to have access to the network. I have now moved and taken the g5 with me. The powerbook goes to a blue screen after the user password is entered and won't turn on, even if the router is completely detached. The only way the powerbook fully boots is if it is directly connected to the internet throught the cable. I'm sure the problem is related to me taking away the g5, confusing the powerbook or something! Any advice? Thanks for the help!

you probly have your powerbook set to boot off a network.
change that and it might solve your problem.
but then an iD-10T cable could also solve your problem.
