Sort & List Files/Folders

I have a couple hundred subfolders and thousands of files in one folder.

I'm a PC user so I'm so used to working in the format where the folders are listed first and the files afterwards. Sorted alphabetically. Can this be done in Mac OS 10.2.6?

Is there any way I can select this entire folder and have all the contents (files/subfolders) inside to be "Viewed as List"?

Um, if you select "Kind" while viewing a directory by "List," that will sort all the files by kind, although the folders won't necessarily be first, they will be grouped together though.

Yeah, that's the problem. If I sort by "kind" it would put JPEGs together, ZIPs together...etc. I only want folders to be together and then files to be together, then sorted alphabetically.

I guess there isn't a way to select a folder and have all the contents Viewed as List?

Sad to hear that...
