Hello to all,
A friend recently asked me if I could recommend any software for the Mac that would enable her to play a voice file, see the rise and fall of the speakers intonation and then record herself to try to match that intonation (she is learning Norwegian and apparently it has some interesting intonation changes that can seriously affect how well the speaker is understood).
I initially suggested Audacity (as it is open source, so no additional cost), but then found it doesn't do this - it just shows the wave form, not the "voice print" (I'm not sure what to call what I'm trying to describe), so was of no use.
Are there any packages out there that will do the above? Open source would be preferred.
Thanks,
Bowjest
