Switching from Windoze Live Mail to Mac Mail app?

I finally convinced someone in the office to switch to a Mac. Now it's up to me to get their email from Windoze Live Mail to Mac Mail or Thunderbird. How big a project have I burdened myself with? Are there reliable apps that can make the job easier?

Well this turns out easier than I could ever imagine. I just copy the eml files from WLM and drop them into Thunderbird.
Case closed!!

You should really look at should look at LibreOffiice and download the pure silicon version! It can save on Microsoft formats too!

As someone mentioned on another thread, FreeOffice may even be a better solution depending on what your guy is doing... or just plain MS Office.
