Greetings,
I found a similar thread on here, but it didn't fix the problem for me, so I'm posting this one.
I'm running VP6.1 in OS X 10.3.9, and it won't connect to the Internet. It used to. I haven't used it in a long time. Now it won't. I have no idea what might have changed.
I am connected to the Internet via AirPort connection to a NetGear wireless router. The Mac's Internet connection is fine.
In Windows in VPC I open Network Connections, and double-click Local Area Connection (which is enabled). I see the following:
I click Properties, and all of the following are checked:
I double-click TCP/IP and these are selected:
Now, I have also tried following the steps in this article, putting in a static IP address and DNS server. Still no go. The status bar in Explorer (Windows) will say "Opening page http://blahblahblah.com", but eventually it fails, and I get the "The page cannot be displayed" error page.
Here is the dump from ipconfig/all:
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!!
Thanks,
DM
Oh yeah, in VPC, Networking is set to "Shared Networking".
