What's a "Transport Monitor" failure?

Every time I restart my Mac I get the following error:

"The application "Transport Monitor" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "<Transport Monitor><Transport Monitor><HotSyncLib.PPC><__ct__16CTransportRelMacFP18OpaqueTransportRefUc>"

Does anyone know what I am supposed to do about this?

Sounds like something from a Palm installation (both "Transport Monitor" and "HotSync" give that away) is around and doesn't work right. Try either removing the whole thing and/or updating to the newest version.
 
No idea. :/ ... Basically, though, you just want the Transport Monitor app to be gone. You could also start up "HotSync" and deactivate its startup activity.
 
Thank you all. I should simply have read the installation instructions that came with Missing Synch - you are correct, the Missing Synch and the Palm desktop are incompatible.

Deleting the Palm solved the problem.
