Why doesn't traceroute work?

Actually Racer D, I'm running a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router so it must be something particular with his router. :)
 
freaky: but you are still running a firewall on your OS X machine, which prevented you from pinging. and obviously your router doesn't block icmp ports and his does.
