I buy thousands of dollars of RAM from >datamem< every year. Great prices (not always the absolute cheapest, but close enough) and fantastic service, which hopefully you won't need. Another one is >OtherworldComputing< (same thing, I buy like crazy from these guys as well).

I'd love to see Apple fix the problem with sleep and Wallstreets (possibly others). If the pb is asleep then unplugged, the fan comes on and stays on as long as it's unplugged. Basically making sleep unless in my case. :mad:

Joseph: try downloading from a reputable bot. :D There was one disk image making the rounds that was corrupt, this might be it.

In OSX this is a piece of cake, but in OS9, you need to use Disk Copy 6.4 or 6.5b (both of which are not readily available) to convert the image to "whatever.cdr", .cdr is a generic disk image which Toast can recognize. Once you have it converted, just drag it into the Toast window (set to disk...

Why would you restart to do something that takes you less than 10 seconds in terminal? I'm sorry, but if you need to restart to empty the damn trash, I'd rethink which OS I was using.

I had no problem installing b43 on three machines. Where are you trying to put the app? I put mine on another partition, so there were no permission problems...just a thought.
