to me CCC is the best. Retrospect ould back up to dvd but for me it was painfully slow to my firewire external burner. Now I use ccc to backup to an external firewire hd and using the installed psync to sync the files it is very fast.

there is a usb 2.0 cable available for the ipod for the pc. He can use it just like firewire.

how do you get toast 6 to span disks? I have never been able to do that.

I have had the sleep issue lately. I was about to do a permissions repair and see if that helped.

It won't work. The itrip gets its power from the remote hookup on the ipod. You would have to get power to it somehow. The frequencies should work the same though. I have a belkin tunecast that works well for this application.

Works the same on my t610. I just drag and drop the files one at a time from the bluetooth file exchange. Besides Salling Clicker, any other cool software you have found for the t610 and mac osx?

I used to get those errors but make sure and check repair permission before cloning and make bootable and you should be fine. I used this last night to clone my cube drive over so I could boot my pb 12 from the firewire drive.
