to minimize the effect of the haze get some plastic scratch remover from wal-mart or an auto parts store, then apply it about 20 times.

i've honestly tried everything to get the haze off of my headlights (i used goo-gone on them, too) to no avail. i think it actually physically warps the plastic to the point of no fix. i hate to be the bearer of bad news =( if you find anything out, let me know, i've got some headlights to...

if you used goo gone or goof off or any chemical like that on your plastic, you're out of luck, it destroys plastic.

simple and clean is the way to go. i hope apple gets rid of scan lines as well =P

the ipod would become that much more useful if that firewire -> usb converter would allow me to use the ipod as a usb hard drive as well as a firewire one. i would assume this is the case (isn't usb 2.0 backwards compatible?) all the computers at the school have usb, not usb 2.0 or firewire :(

what would be needed to set something like that up? i'm behind a firewall that has most ports closed, but i can still share stuff over some p2p networks (no ftp sharing, though).
